Really enjoyed this first episode and I'm looking forward to the next one. I'm guessing the "everyone has a secret identity" line is key to this whole thing.

One suggestion though since this blog is still young. I would really consider looking into the "permalinks" settings in wordpress so you can have URLs based on post name rather than post number. It helps with the search engines a bit.

Thanks, Evan. I'll look into that and get it fixed.

Birdless, I think some of your questions regarding Bob Smith will be answered in the next episode. More on the Cyber Commandos soon, too, but remember few people believe superheroes exist like Grant and Dominic do. I wouldn't say SHIELD is too far off the look, though, except the Cyber Commandos are fatter.

Nice start, DK!! I'm really looking forward to hearing more! I also like that it's going to be 'family-friendly.' I just wished my son were old enough to appreciate it with me!

But a few questions: can you tell us if the Cyber Commandos are like Marvel's SHIELD? I mean, are they like a government agency or what? Their role in this world may be a little TOO vague at the get-go. And is Bob Smith being identified as the creator of CyberPunk deliberately vague or are we to assume that he is only the creator of the comic book stories of CyberPunk?

Oh! I loved the smug little lilt in your voice when you read Toothpick's reaction to the redhead girl not getting an autograph! Spot on!

Just subscribed to the podcast -- haven't heard the first episode, but looks good.

A technical matter: the link under "Entries RSS", "feed:http://dk-thompson.com/?feed=rss2", is broken in iTunes (and possibly other podcast apps as well). Get rid of the feed: part at the beginning, and it'll work fine.
