All I Ever Wanted To Be Was A Superhero
Hey there! Thanks for tuning in to my site. I’ve got a lot planned for you, including wannabe superheroes, spiritual noir, and faith/geek essays pulled out of my ass.
First up, hopefully very, very soon, is my kid’s book The Unbelievable Origin of Superspiff and the Toothpick Kid. If the idea of a kid-friendly Kevin Smith-esque superhero story sounds amusing to you, I hope you’ll give this a listen. The book’s done, and I’m planning to put out an episode every week for your listening pleasure. I hope you dig it. My pal Zak Jarvis (of the amazing Voidmonster Productions) put together the album artwork you see, and there will be music from the mysterious Bart Allen (not to be confused with Barry) as well as the fantastic Tangential Cold. Hopefully by the time you read this post (or pretty soon thereafter), the first episode will be up.
In the not-too-distant future, I’m hoping to put out Balam’s Ass, my podcast about where all things geek and faith intersect. No matter what you believe, I hope you’ll check this out as well. It’s my intention to entertain and amuse you, not to preach. I like asking questions more.
